Artist Statement

I am an architect and abstract artist whose work explores the relationship between structure, movement, and color. My background in architecture has shaped the way I see composition and balance, while painting allows me to express creativity in a more intuitive and fluid way.

Around ten years ago, I returned to painting after many years away from the canvas. I was immediately drawn to acrylic pouring because of its organic movement and the unique, unpredictable patterns it creates. No two paintings are ever exactly alike, making every piece a one-of-a-kind expression of color and form.

For nearly eight years, acrylic was my primary medium. As my artistic practice evolved, I began incorporating resin into my work to create greater depth, texture, and luminosity. Today, many of my artworks combine acrylic and resin, while others are created entirely with resin, allowing me to continue exploring new dimensions of abstract expression.

My paintings are inspired by movement, energy, balance, and the emotional dialogue between colors. Rather than depicting recognizable subjects, I create abstract compositions that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and discover their own interpretations. Each artwork is an exploration of rhythm and flow, capturing a moment that cannot be repeated.

I believe art should evoke emotion, curiosity, and connection. Every painting is created with intention and a willingness to embrace the unexpected, resulting in works that celebrate both precision and spontaneity. My hope is that each piece brings a sense of energy, harmony, and inspiration to the spaces and people who experience it.
